Ayumi Hamasaki To Marry European Actor Manuel Schwarz
Singer Ayumi Hamasaki (32) has announced that she will soon get married. According to statements she made on her Twitter account and on her fan club website just after the start of the new year, she will be tying the knot with Austrian actor Manuel Schwarz (30).
Hamasaki met Schwarz in August of last year. At that time, Schwarz (who is also known as Mannie) played her husband in the music video for her song "Virgin Road." Then in October, he appeared in two more of her music videos, for the songs "Love Song" and "Last angel." Within those two months, the two became very close, frequently exchanging e-mails and phone calls.
Hamasaki wrote, “I, Hamasaki Ayumi, met irreplaceable love, as a human being, and as a female. I am sure that we are at the closest place as eternity. Many who was my husband in the PV for ‘Virgin Road’, will be my husband in my real life!!!!!”
On December 31, Hamasaki performed "Virgin Road" as the opening act of NHK's Kouhaku Uta Gassen, wearing a white wedding dress. After that, she headed to Yoyogi National Gymnasium for her own countdown concert. However, she decided to wait until after those performances before announcing the news of her marriage online.
Hamasaki's management has acknowledged her announcement. Although she does not have any upcoming work in her schedule at the moment, it is said that she does not plan on retiring. It is also reported that she is not pregnant.

World Music Award - the Billboard JAPAN Music Awards 2010 - Is now revealed to be held on February 06, 2011!

"So last week I get a call from the coordinator for Ayumi Hamasaki asking if I was available to mix a song. At first I said no because I was too busy, but I managed to adjust my schedule to work on my day off to do the song “Seven Days War”. Ayumi came in to hear the song and loved it! I jokingly said, “Let’s do another one” and the next thing I know, they asked if I could mix “Virgin Road”."
Pop queen Ayumi Hamasaki will be releasing her 49th single, “crossroad,” on the 22nd and will be following it up with her 50th single, “L,” on the 29th. It seems she is getting excited for the milestone as she has decided to celebrate her 50th release with a special project on the mu-mo website.
For this project mu-mo users will get to vote for “Minna de Erabu ☆ayu’s BEST 10.” Fans will get to vote on their favorite singles from the vocalist in a ton of different categories such as “favorite song,” “favorite jacket photograph,” and “favorite music video.” For the project fans will get one vote per category. The project voting period will run until September 21st and the official results will come out on October 1st. Mu-mo is also planning a mystery present for when the announcement comes out.
Unfortunately you have to be a mu-mo user to participate in the voting project, which precludes most international fans. Those who can vote should head over to mu-mo’s site to participate. Everyone else will just have to wait for the exciting results in October!
The countdown officially begins. To celebrate Japanese pop queen Hamasaki Ayumi reaching the milestone of her 50th single, she will release her 49th and the 50th single over two consecutive weeks. The 49th single Crossroads is a mid-tempo ballad that marks the first collaboration between Ayu and influential music producer Komuro Tetsuya. The two last worked on a duet with Ayu and globe Keiko, making this the first solo collaboration between two of the most popular hitmakers in Avex's history. The single includes a B-side track that is also written and produced by Komuro.

Tv Asashi's Music Station har nettopp avsluttet en 2 times spesial av programmet. Sammen med bandet, fremførte Ayu den ny sangen "crossroad". Denne utgaven av Music Station blir også sendt i Hong Kong, Taiwan og Kina.

Ayumi Hamasaki is going to release a theme song to the million selling magazine "sweet".
Hamasaki is going to appear on the covers of the October issue and on the cover of the November issues for the second month running. October issue is going to be published in 1,150,000 copies, the highest number ever. TV commercial using the theme song by Hamasaki (as-yet-untitled) is going to start to air from 9th September.
The song is medium-ballad which lyric is written by Hamasaki and going to be contained in her 50th single "L". Takarajimasya is saying "We aim to SOLD OUT." We can expect synergistic effects of collaboration between million seller magazine and a million seller artist.
I oktober utgaven av magasinet ViVi får vi via "Deji-Deji Diary" en liten forsmak på en reportasje som skal bli inkludert november utgaven av magasinet. Den kommende reportasjen har fått det passende navnet "Naked talk ~50th single anniversary special~! og inneholder flere bilder av Ayu fotografert i studio, samt et fordypende intervju.
